I made hard boiled eggs using the 'perfect hard boiled egg' method. Step 1: Place uncooked eggs in pot. Step 2: Fill pot with cold water, covering eggs with 1 inch of water. Step 3: Bring water to a boil.
now it was at this point that I heard it... and then Stephen heard it. A peep peep peep sound. Then Kyla heard it. I mean, it wasn't hard to hear, it was loud and persistent! Kyla said, "It sounds like baby chicks crying for their mamas!" OMG. Yep, she heard it too.
I tell Stephen it's impossible, plus, there's no oxygen in there, even if there were chicks in there, which theres not, they wouldn't be able to peep anyway.
Eventually the water gets hotter and hotter and the peeping
The eggs finish cooking, we dye them, yay.
Now I have to use these hard boiled eggs. I have to crack open the shells. I am still nervous.

ohmygosh-- i'm super nervous for you too! i'm sure that isn't the support you were looking for, but it's true. eggs make me feel squishy anyway. i like the shot of all the pretty colors. happy egg salad!
